Margaret Jester

Margaret Jester is an artist and illustrator based in Hampton, Virginia. She specializes in characterized animals both real and fantasy, with an emphasis on creatures inspired by Asian culture and folklore. A love for video games, animation and electronic music brings a bright and energetic quality to her work.

She enjoys creating various animal characters and hopes to eventually write them into short stories or comics. She has experience designing mascots and logos for local companies, along with illustrating two children's books. Her works are currently on display at Blue Skies Gallery in Hampton and she occasionally brings art to local pop-culture conventions. She enjoys attending other local conventions with her husband and putting her creative skills to the test for various events at her church.
